Painting the White House, Black

I've been gone for a minute but now I'm back with the jumpoff. Our 44th President is an African American named Barack Obama, can you believe it? When he beat Hillary Clinton I knew it was all over. I thought, "They like him, they really like him!" The white people surprised me the most though. They had their bumper stickers, lawn signs, t-shirts, buttons and hats. Everyone was supporting the African American Democratic candidate.
But McCain is the real reason for the landslide victory. McCain gave the people of the United States the final reason to vote for Obama. The laughing stock of presidential history, Sarah Palin. I assume, McCain attempted to grab the Clinton supporters by placing another woman in the race. Well that backfired more than a beat up Buick. Palin embarrassed herself time an time again with senseless comments, unanswered questions and just being who she is. I personally didn't agree with her running for VP, when she has a newborn baby. And in addition to her other four children, the newborn has down syndrome. This baby needs extra attention from everyone especially his mother. She publicized her daughters teenage pregnancy with the entire world. Palin couldv'e refused the position and waited until the next term for the sake of her family. She was inexperienced anyway. What gave her the idea that she was even fit for the position?
Just because someone offers you a job, doesn't mean you have to take it. Yes, this job was high on the totem pole but she made a fool of herself trying to take on the challenge. Taking her serious isn't an option. If she stepped in as the Commander-in-chief, I may move to Canada. I would be out of the United States but still close by.

Back to the reason for the worlds happiness, Barack Obama. I think he is an outstanding, educated, confident, accomplished, family-oriented and positive Black role model. He is the role model for all the Black men who didn't have a father to look up to. He is the evidence of you can be whatever you want to be. Many generations and races decided together that they wanted more out of their president this term. They wanted to see the country go and grow into a new direction. We joined forces and made it happen United States. And this historic event is the first step in our quest of unity, liberty and justice for all.

The Tru Man and Wife

The Seahawks cornerback, Marcus Trufant, has married his longtime girlfriend, the mother of his first child, Jessica Rankin.
It's nice to see nature take it course and bring together two beautiful people.









Over 600 guests filled the Immaculate Conception Church in Seattle, WA on Saturday, March 29th. It rained off and on but the weather didn't stop them from exchanging vows.


Living in Seattle, I heard various rumors about their relationship but didn't believe them. Whatever happened in their relationship is in the past. How they united and became one, only God will know. The point is, he is hers and they are a family.
The female haters should be glad he married a sista! We all know athletes tend to dib and dabble outside their race.
I'm happy for the couple and wish them the best. Marcus is a down to earth brotha who has been blessed with a major talent. Jessica is pretty and together they made a beautiful daughter.



Let their union be filled with ever-lasting love and happiness. And sitting on $50 million can only make it better.....ok?

What does it take for a father to step up? Does the mother have to pass away or abandon the child for the man to step in?

Even if you can't see yourself with the female, why take it out on the baby? The phrase, "It ain't mine" is a sign of ignorance and immaturity. At least wait for a paternity test, before you deny the seed.


Leaving a child fatherless is usually the behavior of a fatherless man. You would think they would want a better life for their child, right? What isn't clicking here?

Children look up to their parents and idolize them. Imagine a young boy growing up with only his mother. How can she teach him to become a man? She can't because she is not a man. She can teach morals, values, manners and education to the child, but she can't teach him how to become a strong man, which is needed in our society.

Many men have multiple children by countless women and leave them behind. When will our men begin to act like the man God made them to be??

Priority List

Procrastination is a common disease amongst the human species. Why do we put things off until the last minute? Laziness and being easily distracted are two reasons which come to mind.

Sitting in front of the TV will only help the ratings for the network and paychecks of the actors. And now-a-days shows repeat as often as commercials. Your favorite show will most likely be on again in two hours or within the week.

If your to-do list doesn't have any check marks on it, you may want to sit down and re-evaluate your priorities.

The conflict at the Grammy's 08' was overhyped and exaggerated. The media had a field day after Rihanna and Jay won ,The Rap/Sung Award for "Umbrella." At first the rumor sounded believable, but the video changed my mind. I believe the two of them were excited about the win. This is my play-by-play! They embraced eachother and then it appears that Jay-Z didn't want to go on stage. Rihanna grabbed his wrist and drug him to the stage anyway. Jay-Z doesn't put up a fight and walks to the stage. He gently shakes Rihanna's hand loose and she reacts.

It's a business relationship, mentor and artist. If anything went on, it has passed. The good girl gone bad creates fabulous music but Beyonce' has the whole biz sewed up like freshly hemmed dress slacks. Beyonce' is the real "Queen B." Both artist are beautiful and talented young ladies. But let's keep it Real .....Mr. Jay-Z has already conquered his plan A and I don't think he'll let Ri- Ri ruin his Plan B.

Friendship

Longtime friends are full of surprises. You know them very well but things they do can be shocking. You may receive phone calls at odd times of the day and night, when they ask or tell you startling information. So startling that you hang up and still have those thoughts on your mind. Continous conversations and gatherings will help you develop a strong bond. But do you really know what's going on inside their head? You may ask questions, give advice or just listen and still remain lost. People are one of the hardest things to figure out. You will never know anyone like the back of your hand, so don't walk away from someone you don't understand.

Lost One

In this day people are dropping like flies......
They're up one day and the next day they can't open their eyes.
Everyone knows one day will be there last......
But I didn't know the last time I saw this person, would be my last.
I hope his soul has taken him to a better place, where he can rest in peace.

purchasing Veneers. The media can't call him Bugz now! He literally put his money where his mouth was. Personally I love his dramatic change. Appearance is very important and makes a fabulous impression. Many celebrities seem to bypass fixing their grill. Sometimes you glance at folks and think the teeth are playing inside their mouth. Just to be messy here are few: Diddy, Reggie Miller, and Shemar Moore. I left out a few others in the industry needing an orthodontist, but you already know who they are. The brothas are good looking too, until they hit us with the piranhas. After that, it's a rap. And the bad part is they can afford to change it. Investments of all kind, can go a long way.
